| Personal welcome at the airport and guided transfer to the booked hotel. Information meeting, presentation of the program and welcome cocktail. Departure for the Cretan evening: dinner of local specialties and wine of choice. A group of musicians and dancers will draw you into the fete to the sound of the bouzouki and the Cretan lyre and will introduce you to their folk dances and the syrtaki. |

| Today, relaxing on board of a specially chartered boat, you will have the chance to indulge in the freshness and calm of an isolated bay and swim in its crystal-clear waters. An open bar and a variety of appetizers will be offered on board, before we move on to lunch in a seaside tavern with fish and seafood dishes. Upon returning, an aperitif will be served on the hotel beach; an ideal moment for marveling at the wonderful sunset and continue with a bit of dancing during a beach party which will culminate in a delicious barbecue. |

| Tracking down the past |

| This day begins in the heart of mythology, with the frivolities of the god of gods: Zeus, who fathered the monstrous Minotaur, and goes on to relate the genius of Daedalus, the bravery of Theseus and the grief of his father Aegeus. Lunch of typical Cretan dishes in a taverna in Heraklion. In the afternoon, visit to the Archaeological Museum of Heraclion, the 2nd most important in Greece, will reveal an impressive and touching collection of excellently preserved objects from that glorious era, which still holds so many mysteries we have yet to unravel... Theme evening (either Fisherman's Dinner or Cretan Evening). |

An open bar and a variety of appetizers will be offered on board. Lunch in a typical seaside tavern with fish and seafood dishes. Dinner by candle light in the hotel. |
| An extraordinary expedition with 4x4 jeeps |

Start the engine... for an extraordinary day of exploration, adventure
and entertainment through the Cretan wilderness: following roads lined with centenary olive trees
and orange groves, this route will take you to some of the remotest villages of the island, where life
is still regulated by the alternating seasons and the chores they are related to. A number of stops
will enable you to take pictures of the surroundings and indulge in the exhilarating fragrances of
rosemary, thyme, wild mint and sage, but also take a sip of tsikoudia accompanied by local mezes.
At midday the expedition will enjoy a longer break at a small village, where you can have lunch,
relax and swim.
Gala evening: an exquisite dinner of Cretan specialties followed by a folk-music-and-dance
program will be the best way to end your last day on the island. |
